Yu-Shin Tsao is a Taiwanese documentary photographer and visual journalist focusing on conflict, displacement, and contemporary social issues.

His work explores the emotional and psychological dimensions of war, often centering on the fragile coexistence of ordinary life and prolonged violence. Through intimate visual storytelling, he document how individuals preserve dignity, memory, and human connection amid uncertainty.
